    Description

    Overview:

    As anAutomation Engineer specializing in Selenium and Java you will playa critical role in our organization to ensure the quality andreliability of our software products. Your expertise in automationtesting using Selenium and Java will contribute to the continuousimprovement of our software developmentprocess.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Design develop andmaintain automated test scripts using Selenium withJava.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams tounderstand project requirements and ensure comprehensive testcoverage.
    • Execute automated test suites andanalyze results to identify and reportdefects.
    • Contribute to the enhancement of theautomation framework and testinfrastructure.
    • Participate in Agile ceremoniesand provide inputs for refining user stories from a testingperspective.
    • Implement continuousintegration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) for automated testsuites.
    • Identify opportunities for testoptimization and efficiency improvement.
    • Workclosely with developers to resolve issues and reproducedefects.
    • Conduct peer reviews of test scriptsand provide constructive feedback.
    • Documenttest plans test cases and test results for reference andreporting.
    • Stay updated with the latestautomation testing trends and tools to enhance the testingprocess.
    • Contribute to creating and maintaininga culture of quality within theorganization.
    • Provide mentorship and trainingto junior team members in automation testing bestpractices.
    • Participate in root cause analysisand contribute to problemsolvinginitiatives.
    • Support version control andconfiguration management of testassets.

    RequiredQualifications:

    • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Engineering or relatedfield.
    • Proven experience in automation testingusing Selenium with Java.
    • Strong proficiency inJava programming for testautomation.
    • Experience with continuousintegration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools andpractices.
    • Indepth knowledge of Agilemethodologies and practices.
    • Ability to writeand execute SQL queries for testingpurposes.
    • Solid understanding of softwaredevelopment lifecycle and software testingprinciples.
    • Proficiency in scripting languagessuch as Python Shell or JavaScript.
    • Excellentproblemsolving and debugging skills.
    • Strongcommunication and collaboration skills to work effectively in ateam environment.
    • Capability to work in afastpaced dynamic environment and manage multiplepriorities.
    • Familiarity with version controlsystems like Git or SVN.
    • Certifications inautomation testing or related areas would be aplus.
    • Experience with performance and securitytesting would be advantageous.
    • Ability to adaptto new technologies and toolsquickly.
