- Responsible for a variety of engineering tasks in the initial planning, design and modification phase of projects.
- Structural analysis and Design of Bridges and Viaduct Structures, Flyovers, Underpassses, Culverts and Retaining walls.
- Experience with bridge and related structural design schemes.
- Proven design and project management experience delivering to quality, time and budget.
- Experience in road and/or rail projects.
- Excellent technical skills design.
- Able to correlate and interpret the data shared by supporting interdisciplinary teams.
- Problem solving skills, able to propose alternative solutions for problems encountered.
- Experience in complete life cycle of a design project within Highway/Railway environment.
- Previous exposure with international codes such as Eurocodes, AASHTO, AREMA and ACI.
- Able to work in a diverse team spread across different geographical locations.
- Able to provide guidance to Mid and Entry level Engineers.
- Able to work under minimum guidance / Supervision.
- Able to handle multiple projects and lead highly capable design teams.
- Understanding in various software packages ideally including MIDAS, Autodesk Structural Bridge Design, LUSAS with experience in Finite Element Analysis preferred.
- Mentoring Mid and Entry level Engineers.
- ME/MTech with minimum 15 years of Experience. Chartered with ICE / IStructE or close to pursuing chartership.
- Chartership with IStructE or ICE is preferred
- Undertake rail and road bridges and associated structural engineering schemes from inspection and assessment, feasibility through to detailed design.
- Experience of Eurocodes, British Standards and assessment codes.
- Project management of schemes including client reporting, programming, resource planning and commercial management
