    Jobdescription

    1. Alwaysgreet and welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendlymanner.
    2. Always thank and give fond farewell toguests conveying anticipation for their nextvisit.
    3. Assist guest with table reservation.Assist guest while seating.
    4. Ensure guest isserviced within specified time.
    5. Has a goodknowledge of menu and presentation standards.
    6. Speak with guests and staff using clear and professional languageand answer phone calls using appropriate telephoneetiquette.
    7. Able to answer any questionsregarding menu and assist with menuselections.
    8. Always applies service techniquescorrectly at all times and serving Food Beverage items withenthusiasm.
    9. Serve food courses and beveragesto guests.
    10. Set tables according to type ofevent and service standards.
    11. Communicate withthe kitchen regarding any menu questions the length of wait andproduct availability.
    12. Check with guests toensure satisfaction with each food course andbeverages.
    13. Responsible for clearing collectingand returning food and beverage items to properarea.
    14. Perform shift closing on the Point ofsales terminal and tally cash and credit cardsettlements.
    15. Ensures that the restaurant isalways kept clean and organized both at the front as well as theback of house areas.
    16. Ensures that hotel brandstandards and SOPs are consistentlyimplemented.
    17. Work with fellow staffs andmanager to ensure that the restaurant achieves its fullpotential.
    18. Completes the dailyresponsibilities that are set for each individualshift.
    19. Complete closing duties includingrestocking items turning off lights etc.
    20. Conducts monthly inventory checks on all operating equipment andsupplies.
    21. Take an active role in coaching anddeveloping junior staff.
    22. Any other dutiesrelated to food and beverage service assigned by themanager.
