Job Description

• Managing the procurement of Indirect spend - Engineering items / Operating supplies / all services / Capex / Utility items and execution of Sourcing Strategies
• Procurement to include Energy / Utilities, MRO (Engineering spares, Operating supplies), Manufacturing Services, Retail and Professional Services.
• Position is also responsible for the taking care of Capital goods procurement and handles all the activities related to daily plant operations.
• Job profile to include Processing of Purchase Requisitions / Shopping Carts raised by end users with proper documentation required as per Procurement Policy.
• Invoice and Purchase Order discrepancy resolution with GBS (Global Business Services).
• Manage spend through the Goodyear 7-step sourcing process.
• Preparing executive reports to meet local, regional and global reporting requirements.
• Follow up with vendor for any clarity/Grievance related to material supplied or material procurement.
• Close working with MRO store to monitor the receipt and rejection of material and ensure the Procure to Pay cycle is completed.
• Creation of new vendor codes and update the existing details (contact, bank, tax, TDS update etc.) as per requirement in MDG (Master Data Governance) and Compass (Compliance verification portal for new vendor code creation)
• Position is also responsible to manage Scrap Disposal contract and rate finalizations
• Executes sourcing strategies within geographical scope, ensuring consistency with Global Indirect category strategies for all Categories for Ballabgarh plant in close coordination with the plant procurement operation leader.
• Ensures appropriate and effective communication occurring at all organizational levels and also at the local plant stake holders with consistent follow up and messaging.
• Develops relationships with local and regional suppliers to support business needs
• Responsibility of long-term contracts for the plant and knowledge of RFQ/tendering process
• Associate to drive projects across the plant and deliver savings to meet the business goals of the plant.
• Drive the overall efficiency of the Procurement Operations Savings projects for all Indirect categories for Ballabgarh.

Experience:

• 3+ years of Procurement experience in large scale / multinational / multi geography organization in Indirect Procurement (Energy/Utilities, MRO/Engineering spares, Capital goods and Services)
• Education – BE/BTech in Mechanical/Electrical Streams
• Strong understanding and overview of Strategic Sourcing, Indirect Category Management and Procurement Operations
