The Data Security Council of India (DSCI) is a premier think-tank and a not-for-profit Industry body for Cybersecurity.A small yet dynamic team at DSCI engages with governments and their agencies, regulators, industry sectors, startups, industry associations and think tanks for policy advocacy, thought leadership, capacity building and outreach activities.
DSCI has an initiative on semiconductor security called The Centre for Hardware Security Entrepreneurship Research and Development (C-HERD). C-HERD is a Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, India (MeitY) funded national-level initiative of the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) in partnership with the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-Madras) and Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT-KGP) and works on accelerating progress in semiconductor security by driving groundbreaking research, fostering next-generation startups, propelling the development of innovative products, enabling businesses to create secure:
# Work closely with the ecosystem (Industry, academia, startups, defence, etc.,) to understand their problem statements.
# Track the work happening at a national level on niche security domains and connect individuals/entities and others through DSCI.
# Actively engage with DSCI's teams to:
# Setup technical standards.
# Oversee technical development.
# Write business proposals and lead the discussions with external stakeholders.
# Work with teams to develop thought leadership:
# 2 to 7 years of relevant work experience.
# Bachelors (Minimum) or Masters/PhD (Preferred) in Electronics with some flavour of Cybersecurity
# Demonstrated passion for device/Semiconductor/IoT Security.
# Strong technical know-how and hands-on towards semiconductor security (SCA, FI, Trojans, PUFs, etc.,)
# Demonstated experience leading technical, business and strategic discussions with several stakeholders - Both internal and external.
# Ability to document activities concisely yet effectively
# Be curious of the products, startups, researcher work, etc.,
# Ability to comprehend the problems statements and ability to connect the dots.
