    Description

    The opportunity

    We're looking for Full stack Java resources with expertise in Java 8 or Java 11, microservices and SpringBoot technologies. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of our service offering.

    Your key responsibilities

  • Strong programming skills in Java/Microservices/SpringBoot/jQuery
  • Front end - React JS, CSS, HTML, Java Script, Redux
  • Experience with Messaging technologies like Kafka / JMS / SOLACE
  • Exposure to CI/CD practices and cloud deployment
  • Good experience with Database (SQL or Oracle)
  • Experience with one of the UI technologies like Angular / React
  • Deep code analysis and refactoring skills with the goal being proactive platform improvement
  • Azure or cloud environments experience along with Agile will be a plus.
  • Ability to drive code review and change review sessions to ensure changes are of acceptable quality.
  • Good understanding of Change Management, Problem Management and Incident Management processes a plus.
  • Ability to effectively interpret Technical and Business objectives and challenges and articulate solutions.
  • Willingness to learn new Technologies and exploit them to their optimal potential.
  • Ability to communicate problems/issues across multiple levels of leadership and obtain concurrence on go-forward approach quickly for time-critical issues.
  • String onshore/offshore coordination skills.
  • Preferably a BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other Technical discipline."

    • Skills and attributes for success

  • Collaborating with other members of the engagement team to plan the engagement and develop work program timelines, risk assessments and other documents/templates.
  • Able to manage Senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading teams to execute high quality deliverables within stipulated timeline.
  • Skills in Java, Microservices and Springboot
  • Excellent Written and Communication Skills
  • Ability to deliver technical demonstrations
  • Quick learner with "can do" attitude
  • Demonstrating and applying strong project management skills, inspiring teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members

    • To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience, preferably background in a professional services firm.
  • Excellent communication skills with consulting experience preferred

    • Ideally, you'll also have

  • Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products.
  • Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
