Our client is an Indian conglomerate, with presence across various industries & geographies. The Energy Storage Systems business is a fast growing focus area for the client, with significant investment in terms of CAPEX and workforce over the next five years.
Job Description
As Business Head - Energy Storage Solutions, you will report to the CEO. Your key responsibilities would be -
- Overall responsibility of the Business Development, Sales, Marketing, IT, Accounts, HR, Purchase, Legal and Secretarial functions of the organisation
- Ensure programs, product and services are consistently presented in strong, positive image to customers and relevant stakeholders
- Prepare a corporate plan and annual business plan and monitor progress against these plans to ensure that the organisation attains its objectives as cost effectively and efficiently as possible
- Ensure strategic objectives shaped at the CEO and board level are translated into tactical business plans with mechanisms for key measurements in place to monitor progress
- Direct and Control the work and resources of the Organisations and ensure the recruitment of the required numbers of well-motivated, trained and developed staff to ensure that it achieves its mission and objectives
- Maintain effective formal and informal links with major customers, relevant government departments and agencies, local authorities, key decision makers and other stake holders generally, to exchange information and views and to ensure that the Organisation is providing the appropriate range and quality of services
- Prepare and monitor the implementation of the annual budget to ensure that budget targets are met, that revenue flows are maximised and that fixed costs are minimised
- Develop and maintain an effective marketing strategy to promote the products, services of the Organisation
The Successful Applicant
Preferably B.E and MBA with 20+ years of experience across energy storage or allied industries. Strong experience in managing large CAPEX and greenfield projects is mandatory.
