    Description

    The centralized underwriting team member is responsible for appraising proposals of SBB Loans, inspecting relevant documents and conducting risk analysis for portfolio. They are also responsible for sanctioning of loans within defined TAT for all India as Central Underwriting head. They are also responsible for arranging Training as required and improvising Process as per market need.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Review approval Rates, basis the target for the year for the location and approval rates for all the locations - for the full year.
  • Review approval Rates - CC/OD/Card Power/Secured Loans, basis the target for the year, for the location and approval rates for all the locations - for the full year.
  • Maintain Turnaround time (TAT) from Login to Sanction - Login to Sanction for all products as confirmed.
  • Maintain Turnaround time (TAT) - Legal and Technical - Login to sanction for all secured products as confirmed.
  • Review early Warning Signal- Location wise FPD for term Loans - Location-wise FPD % for Business Loan as confirmed.
  • Ensure Audit and Compliance - Based on Internal and Concurrent audit conducted and Report submitted
  • Maintain PSL Accuracy at product level.
  • Review Renewal and Pendency - Timely inspection and Monitoring of accounts
  • Implement Process improvement, Training, Special assignment, policy feedback, vendor management, participation in pilot runs/testing etc.
  • Ensure support provided to Existing CPC
  • Take Feedback from CO team and Zonal Credit Manager/National Credit Manager for Job enrichment and training initiative and provide support to new locations and products.
  • Take Feedback from Head Credit - SBB and Other stake holders will be the source.
  • Qualifications:

    Optimal qualification for success on the job is:

  • CA/MBA Finance with Credit Appraisal
  • Role Proficiencies:

    For successful execution of the job, the candidate should possess the following:

  • Working knowledge of all retail banking product
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and norms
  • Working knowledge of handling Customer Service
  • Good communication (both verbal and written) skill in both English and the local language
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
