Description

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in building and enhancing Java/Spring-based microservices, along with strong framework experience using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data.

Additionally, familiarity with containerization using Openshift, design patterns, databases, large-scale web services, and basic knowledge of cloud-based services like AWS are required.

As a Java Developer, you will play a key role in developing high-quality, scalable software solutions in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities :

Develop and enhance Java/Spring-based microservices to meet business requirements and technical specifications.
Utilize Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data frameworks to build robust and efficient applications.
Deploy and manage applications in containers running on Openshift, ensuring scalability and reliability.
Apply design patterns to solve complex problems and improve the overall architecture of the application.
Work closely with the database team to design and optimize database schemas and queries.
Implement and consume large-scale web services, ensuring compatibility and performance.
Gain basic knowledge of cloud-based services like AWS and integrate them into the application as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, estimate effort, and deliver high-quality solutions.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders through oral and written communication channels.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
4-6 years of experience in Java development, with a focus on building and enhancing microservices.
Strong framework experience using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data.
Experience with containerization using Openshift or similar platforms.
Solid understanding of design patterns and their application in real-world scenarios.
In-depth knowledge of databases, including schema design, optimization, and querying.
Experience implementing and consuming large-scale web services.
Basic knowledge of cloud-based services, preferably AWS.
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Experience working in an Agile environment, with a good understanding of Agile principles and practices.
