    Description

    Position : AM - Product Compliance

    Location : Gurgaon

    Job Duties :

    • Getting the product tested in LAB and register in Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) to comply with Ministry of Power, Government of India Standards & Labelling Program.
    • Getting the product tested in LAB and register in Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) to comply with Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India Compulsory and Registration Scheme (CRS).
    • Should have hands-on knowledge on MTCTE (TEC) regulations for telecom products and its implementation.
    • Getting IoT devices registered in WPC for ETA and Import License whenever required.
    • Comply with Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF), Government of India E-Waste Management Rules, 2016 and Plastic Waste Management Rules
    • Make sure to follow the guidelines given by government in the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Authorization received from Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
    • Compliance adherence as per the Legal Metrology Rules for packaged commodity and others. Packaging materials i.e. Box, MRP Label, Manual & other review as per necessary compliance requirements.
    • Working together with cross functional teams like Category, Legal team, Quality, DQE, Finance etc. to ensure all compliance requirements taken care of.
    • Experience or knowledge on different regulations like EMC/EMI, SAR, RoHS etc. will be an added advantage.
    • Representing Xiaomi in Industry Associations discussion
    • Representing Xiaomi at BIS/BEE/ WPC/ TEC and resolving queries

    Desired Candidate Profile:

    • Min. 3-4 years of relevant experience with product compliance background (preferred)
    • Ability to work efficiently and proactively on multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining a commitment to quality.
    • Strong verbal and analytical skills, exceptional interpersonal skills, cross-cultural skills and highly team-oriented.
    • Eager to learn about new regulatory frameworks and take up new projects by his own.
    • Should be able to work independently when required as well as in a team environment.

    Qualification – Engineering/B.Tech from any reputed college.
