Description

We are looking for a Test Automation Architect to join our team remotely.
The project team is responsible for implementing a live-person messaging option for our leading healthcare client. It is a new initiative, and over 30 lines of business will go live with this messaging/chat option. Joining the team, you will experience firsthand how we're enhancing customer experience by delivering quicker responses and more precise assistance to visitors on both our web portal and mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain the test automation framework and strategy within an organization.
• Collaborate with QA and dev teams to understand testing requirements and translate them into automated test cases.
• Develop a comprehensive test strategy that covers functional, regression, performance, and security testing of web and mobile applications. Understand technical solution details and aid the development team in troubleshooting issues as necessary.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases using tools like Playwright, Selenium, Appium.
• Define coding standards and best practices for test automation. Ensure consistency across test scripts and adherence to industry standards.
• Optimize test execution time by parallelizing test runs and minimizing resource usage. Identify bottlenecks and address them proactively.
• Utilize SQL queries for relational database manipulation and NoSQL to ensure data integrity and system functionality during testing.
• Perform comprehensive testing on RESTful and SOAP web services to ensure the interoperability, integrity, and reliability of application interfaces.
• Effectively plan and define test strategies, provide accurate QA estimates, and generate detailed reports.
• Work closely with the product owners, scrum masters, and team leads to establish clear acceptance criteria for testing procedures
• Train QA engineers and developers on using the framework effectively. Provide ongoing support and guidance.

• 5+ years of experience in developing test plans, building tools, and test frameworks. Strong experience in automation scripting/tools/ tests harness like Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Karate, RestAssured, JUnit, and TestNg.
• 4+ years of experience testing in Java, JavaScript, Typescript, Unix, SQL, NoSQL, and Web Services (Rest & SOAP) environments.
• 2+ years of supervisory and lead experience is a must.
• Computer Science fundamentals and experience in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and building frameworks using different automation design patterns.
• Solid understanding of development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and QA processes.
• Understanding CI/CD pipelines and integration with tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or Azure Pipelines.
• Experience with Mobile Applications automation.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
