    We are Hiring Transport Manager for Leading FMCG Distribution Company
    Location- Sriperumbudur & Sholavaram
    Responsibilities

    1) Transport Management
    • Lead all Transport related requirements for Genpact with user happiness levels and maintain Genpact standards on deliverables.
    • Coordinate with Organization's Managers & the Business Units on smooth operations
    • Lead a program of weekly inspections to ensure accurate transport operations is upheld.
    • Recommend continuous quality improvement practices across all sites.
    • Innovation towards workplace excellence under transport as a function
    • Build outstanding User experience at the workplace and by crafting user friendly processes.
    • Lead the Ticket Management tool for the respective site and reach the critical metric goals.
    • Have a creative thought process on various services for the users and transport operations.
    • Plan change in program, delivery, communications, use the resources on ground and vendors aptly for Organizations benefit.
    • Innovations, complex changes, Macro look out, setting expectations through drawing right programs.
    • Ensure full compliance with all local and governmental regulations and legislations Managing the transport Metrics like VU, OTA, OTD etc. for the location.
    2) People Management/ Engagement:
    • Ensure high staff morale, trust and work ethics amongst drivers and supervisors, coordinate with the city transport lead - on the implementation various initiatives, ensure an environment that supports partnership, co-operation, and performance excellence within team.
    3) Finance Management
    • Insight and lead transport budget for the financial year, forecast of monthly & quarterly expenses if any and adherence to the budget forecast and spend.
    4) Risk Management
    • Assist Site Transport Leads in ensuring site risk management programs including audits are implemented and maintained and carry out critical issue and incident reporting procedures.
    5) Client Management
    • Proactively engage partners to ensure that on site client's expectations are met through high level of customer service; Build and develop effective client / partner relationships across multiple levels; Provide a reciprocal environment with client and customers ensuring high levels of engagement.
    6) Procurement & Vendor Management
    • Ensure vendors are well-managed, delivering services on time and within budget; Understand the vendor procurement processes align with agreed client procurement guidelines.

    Requirements Qualifications/ Skills
    • Knowledge of transport management and transport tools.
    • Experience in service industry is desirable.
    • Should have a good grasp of contracts, policies and procedures related to IT and ITES
    • Established ability to influence actions without direct leadership responsibility for teams or processes with a confirmed ability to build links within a matrixed environment (both cross-functionally and cross-business)
    • Ability to lead and execute efficiently at all levels of the organization.
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills - both written and verbal - with a confirmed ability to communicate to all "customers" internally and externally to the business.
    • Proficient to work on high bandwidth and support variety of Business needs.
    • Ability to meet tight deadlines; ability to prioritize and plan, coordinate, and execute on assignments, peer manage relations with colleagues of other fields.
    • Analytical ability, creativity, and sound judgment in resolving site level issues.
    • Ability to create management dashboard for reviews.
    Requirements
    5-8 years work experience as a Warehouse/Store Manager. Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices. Ability to implement process improvement initiatives. Ability to manage self and manage staff. Decision-making and problem solving skills. Good communication skills- verbal and written (email, basic reports). Basic knowledge of excel and word.
