- Ensure timeliness and Accuracy of all deliverables
- Provide guidance to team for correct accounting treatment
- The person will be responsible for day to day and accounting and month end close journals Review and coordination
- Review and Validate Inputs for journals processing
- Balance sheet reconciliations Review and clearing of open items
- Identify process improvement and standardization of process
- Month end Financial Reporting Preparation and Review
- Investigate and research open items and follow up/escalate with different teams for resolution of open items
- Adherence to the internal/external US GAAP/SOX audits
- Accounting graduates with relevant experience, CA/CMA preferred.
- Working experience with ERPs, specifically SAP would be preferred
- Experience in reconciliations tool eg Blackline would be added advantage
- Prior experience with Retail Clients with same size would be preferred
- Good Interpersonal skills and ability to manage complex task and communicate well Leadership behaviors, Drive Innovation, Act Like an Owner, Inspire Other
- Strong Accounting and Analytical skills
- Good understanding of accounting GAAP (US GAAP preferred) principles and strong analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize work, multi-task and drive things to closure
- Good hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications Collaborate with System, Customers and Key Stakeholders
- Prior experience working remotely in a US time zone would be a plus Attention to Detail: Accomplishing tasks by considering all areas involved, no matter how small: showing concern for all aspects of the job, accurately checking processes and tasks.
