    Job Description

    Bhumi is one of India's largest youth volunteerorganizations with a mission to promote volunteering as a national habit. The visionfor college partnerships is to have a Bhumi College Club in every district ofIndia by 2030.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for developing effectivestrategies to expand our college partnerships and maximising studentvolunteering.

    Primaryresponsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Engage all internalstakeholders in shaping shared goals, strategies for the programme to maximizecollege student volunteering and engagement.
  • Build strategies to maximizecollege student volunteering (10x in the next 2-3 years) and oversee theefficient and effective day-to-day functioning
  • Build strong long termmutually-beneficial relationships with managements of colleges to maximisestudent engagement, learning and leadership development
  • Build systems, processes,culture, and the team (employees and volunteers) to supportefficient and effective day-to-dayfunctioning with a focus on continuous learning, improvement, and rapid growth
  • Strategize and help execute increased social responsibility amongcolleges through advocacy, recognition and events

    • PreferredEducation Qualification / Experience:

  • Any Graduate, post-graduateor fellowship
  • Exceptionalcommunicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingto travel extensively
  • Excellent track record of effectively leading andregionally and/or nationally scaling a performance- and outcomes-based project
  • Proven experience inpartnership development, recruitment, or a related field, preferably within theeducation and non-profit sector.

    • Knowledge,Skills, and Abilities:

  • Should be entrepreneurial,have a growth mindset, excited by challenges and open to learning
  • Strong networking andrelationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with diversestakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with theability to develop and implement effective partnership strategies with a passion for social impact
  • Excellent communication skills – English, Hindi, and/orTamil
  • Proactive, Self-Monitored, Resourceful, Accountable
  • Problem-solving and Data driven Decision-making skillsare essential
  • Willingness to travel nationally and locally as required
  • Any institutional leadership role held/experience wouldbe an advantage.
