- The Associate is expected to develop insights by collecting and analyzing data from the field research and assist in formulating the corresponding strategy for the execution of the action plan regarding the aforementioned targets.
- To develop insight papers for government agencies, partnering organizations, and the funding organization, especially on the best practices, scopes, and gaps in the transition of the district and state from a fossil fuel-run economy to a green economy.

Our interventions have included strengthening scheme implementation by identifying current gaps and limitations, providing research support to Hon'ble Members of Parliament about best practices in moving forward, and developing data-technology tools that can back decision-making processes. With flagship initiatives like Supporting Parliamentarians in Analysis and Research in Constituencies (SPARC) and Leadership and Engagement Associate in District (LEAD), Swaniti has supported constituency development and district development planning in various parts of the country. At present, along with working with 200+ Hon'ble Members of Parliamentarians for policy making, we are working as advisors to state governments to ensure the delivery of schemes to the last mile. Major verticals of our work are climate and sustainability, social protection, and livelihood.
Overview of the project:
Swaniti Initiative in collaboration with several civil society organizations will be providing technical Assistance to the Government of Chhattisgarh to mitigate the effects of climate change on the vulnerable sections. This is envisioned to be done by strengthening the existing schemes and programs implemented by the State that significantly contribute towards climate change mitigation. The larger vision of the program also looks at how to make Chhattisgarh a leading State in renewable energy production and consumption while helping the State transition gradually towards more green technology. This is in line with the sustainable development goal of making India a promoter of the use of clean and affordable energy.
Job Summary:
Swaniti Initiative is looking for an enthusiastic and curious professional, who is eager to contribute to the government system by providing research inputs and help reengineering the schemes and programs that contribute towards mitigating changing climatic conditions. The work will be focused around need assessment, situation analysis, data analysis, brainstorming with relevant stakeholders, and collaborating with the allied departments of the Government of Chhattisgarh. The associate may get an opportunity to make focused interventions at the district level by working directly with Deputy Collectors. The position provides a tremendous opportunity to get exposure to multiple domains while working with the allied departments of the government.

Critical thinking ability. Or Fellow - Ph.D. or Master in relevant fields with at least 3-5 years of experience. Ability to work well independently and collaboratively as needed. Must possess a self-starting and entrepreneurial outlook for leading research. Must be fluent in writing and speaking English, demonstrated through prior research reports or academic publications; knowledge of additional languages is an asset. Previous experience of working with the public sector companies (Preferred) Must have the skill of stakeholder management Previous experience of organizing the workshop/roundtable conference A passion for making a positive impact in the world. Skills and Attributes Required Experience in Business and Finance sector Ability to read and analyze corporate documents and annual reports Proficient in using quantitative skills with R or any other coding languages Ability to learn about the new sector and quickly adapt to changes Skilled in policy analysis Prior experience conducting literature reviews Excellent English writing skills.
