    Software Technologist I - Test Automation

    Job Description

    You are responsible for:

    • Well versed with Testing techniques and come up with efficient test suites, Formulate V&V strategy, plan and execute agile testing and verification activities of the Program/project in consultation and alignment with partners
    • Experience with agile methodologies
    • Participates in Review of Requirements, System design, Test Plans and test cases
    • Creates and maintains the traceability for the assigned work product
    • Develop automation test plans and strategies on the responsible area
    • Responsible for the design, realization and automation of SW Features
    • Manage automation estimation, planning and risk management activities
    • Keeps abreast of technical developments in own field
    • Define & drive automation quality improvement initiatives, deploy right tooling for automation.
    • Quality & productivity improvement

    To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

    • Over all 5+ years of experience in Automation Testing
    • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
    • C++ Programming experience is good to have.
    • Any scripting experience preferably on Shell or pearl scripting is required
    • Experience with agile practices, patterns and techniques
    • A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success
    • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
    • Team player
    • Good time-management skills
    • Great interpersonal and communication skills
