Overview:

The Java Developer has a vital role in our company, being in charge of designing, developing, and maintaining top-notch software solutions. Their tasks directly impact the performance and effectiveness of our systems, making them a key member of our tech team.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in the entire application lifecycle with a focus on coding and debugging
Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features
Integrate software components into a fully functional system
Document and upkeep software functionality
Test, deploy, and maintain software to ensure optimal performance and functionality
Bug fixing and enhancing application performance
Explore alternatives and new technologies for architectural review to support continuous improvement
Join in code reviews to ensure compliance with best practices
Aid in developing high-quality web applications using Java technologies
Create and execute frontend architecture supporting user interface concepts
Analyze, program, test, and debug software
Deploy new features and modules while upholding high development standards
Contribute throughout all development phases
Collaborate with backend developers and web designers to enhance usability

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Proven experience as a Java Developer or in a similar role
Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
Expertise in building web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)
Proficiency in Java with a strong understanding of its ecosystems
Familiarity with MVC, JDBC, and RESTful concepts
Skills in working with both external and embedded databases
Knowledge of version control tools like Git
Experience in creating web services using the Spring Framework
Proficient in test-driven development
Sound grasp of object-oriented programming
Experience with leading web application frameworks and modern JavaScript frameworks
Solid knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
