Job Description

Data Entry Clerk maintains the customer database by entering new and updated information and preparing source files that they will use in computerized formats.

The process includes compiling all records into one file or table and sorting it based on criteria.

Requirements Responsibilities:

Prepares, compiles, and sorts documents for data entry. Verifies and logs receipt of data. Transcribes source data into the required electronic format. Transfers information from paper formats into computer files using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners.
