This team runs on production order books, supplier datasheets, coffee, and logistics. The team has an infectious passion for building deep and engaging relationships with our suppliers, vendors, and partners and developing capabilities to manufacture innovative products and components.

What you will do

In this role, you will own the strategic sourcing of all electronic components, working closely with supplier partners, engineering, product and operations teams to deliver Exponent Enabled Electric Vehicles with 15-minute rapid charging to the market.

Responsibilities

• Drive supplier relationships to deliver supplier partner metrics of cost, quality, delivery & localisation
• Negotiate prices, contracts and on-board suppliers in tandem with new product development
• Drive sourcing projects, and build process capabilities with partners across standard as well as custom-made components, be the PCB assemblies, relays, fuses, connectors, displays etc.
• Benchmark cost & quality for various electronic parts and assemblies; identify suppliers, process capabilities, or technologies that will drive productivity
• Drive supplier engagements to further innovation & quality across products
