    Job Description


    Brief Job Description (Applicable to all Bands) To perform GL Accounting & Management Reporting - Activities would include preparation of journal entries, Intercompany, Balance sheet Reconciliations, P&L Analysis, Client Statements, Landlord Reporting, Account Payable and Receivable activities, Revenue Reconciliations, and perform other industry specific activities. Ensure No SLA/KPI are missed. Create and deploy internal controls across the sub processes. Identify the pain areas within the process and develop action plans for smooth functioning of the process.

    Key Accountabilities Being available during EST and PST time zones to interact with client and team and ability to work extra hours including weekends as and when needed. Manage own deliverables and ensure that all the SLAs/KPIs are met. Ability to acquire business knowledge, deep dives into the process and find scope of improvements. Ensure that the close activities are performed as per the agreed close calendar. SOPs are updated in a timely manner and approved as per the agreed approval cycle with the client. Ability to get into the detail and come up with process improvement ideas to reduce close cycle time and or flatten the close peak effort requirement. Find the root causes and implement an action plan to mitigate errors/risk - as applicable. Best practice sharing Operational Parameters Carry out period close activities to the client, undertaking tasks such as Journal Processing, Reconciliations, and issue investigations. Required to assess and validate operational processes /activities and to determine if a robotics automation solution has fulfilled the requirements and identify new opportunities for automation. Working with spreadsheets and ERPs. Resolve any technical and process related problems surrounding the ERP. Participation in projects to gather user requirements, design, customize. Monitors reconciliation performance and maintain reliability of the closing balances with appropriate action plan and follow-ups on open items. Recommends new features or changes to reconciliation workflow based on user feedback. Coordinates new process improvements and laisse with technical teams and users. Ownership of allocated processes/reporting and ensuring all process/reporting deadlines are met and control adherence. Communicate any service delivery issues, deviations, or potential delays in achieving deadlines, to the Team Leader Ensure quality standards laid out are met for the processes/reporting owned. Ensure Detailed Procedure Manuals are reviewed and updated accordingly for the owned processes/reporting. Ensure information related to the processes/reporting owned are maintained in the agreed format. Ensure providing required support for external audits. Communication should be clear and appropriate especially during the month-end period and email communication in terms of reporting. Ensure to keep immediate manager informed on any identified issues on deliverables. Ensure any adhoc request from client to be address/action on timely manner. Participation in projects to gather user requirements, design, customize, test efficient business concepts. Coordinates new process improvements, implements best practices, and liaises with technical teams and users. Produce management reports to the client to understand and govern internal policies. Using metrics and project management tools to achieve business benefits and stakeholder goals. Also assisting with the business case planning and monitoring.
