Your role:

• Custom clearance: Facilitate the customs clearance process working closely with CHAs and ensuring that all custom requirements are met
• Documentation management: Coordinate with order desk for timely receipt of accurate shipment documents including invoices, Packing lists, AwBs/BLs , etc.
• Regulatory compliance: Ensure adherence to allied laws, custom-laws, import-export policies
• Supplier management: Maintain working relationships with CHAs, freight forwarders etc. to facilitate smooth transactions
• Tarrif/duties/policy monitoring Stay informed about changes in duty structure, policy changes, industry development, regulatory changes that may impact importation
• Logistics coordination Coordinate with orderdesk and internal Logistics team for placement of vehicles after custom clearance of goods
• Record keeping Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all import-related activities & documentation for audit /accounting purposes
• Service POs , Bills tracking :Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all service POs generated, CHA bills, reimbursement bills etc.
• Dispute resolution : Address and resolve any queries raised by customs related to the importation of medical devices, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
• Internal coordination: Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams including order desk, regulatory affairs, trade & compliance, business, finance to ensure seamless import-export processes
• Product classification: Coordinate with orderdesk , Compliance team to ensure proper classification of medical devices according to i/e codes & regulations is timely shared for filing BOEs
• Bonding Debonding process: Clear understanding of the bonding debonding process
