    Our organization is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our finance team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in various aspects of accounting, such as accounts payable and receivable, tax compliance, financial analysis, and reporting. As an intern, you will work closely with our experienced accounting professionals and contribute to critical finance projects while developing your skills and knowledge.

    AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Vendor Verification
    2. Ensure the accuracy of every bill, confirming that correct contract rates, special rates, group rates, etc., are charged to the respective parties.
    3. Correct overcharges by issuing credit notes
    4. Assist in conducting regular audits of financial operations, identifying any discrepancies or issues and proposing appropriate solutions.
    5. Aid in the reconciliation of bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the general ledger.
    6. Assist in the day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including recording financial transactions, handling invoices and payments, and maintaining general ledger entries.
    7. Preparing financial reports, ensuring the accuracy of financial documents in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
    8. Creating profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, monitor business performance. You will need to customize reports that are in par with business requirements.
    9. Need to integrate Zoho Books with other software tools such as payment gateways, inventory management software, and customer relationship management tool. You will need to ensure that the data is accurately synced across all integrated software.
    10. Working on properly handling the hard and soft copies of the invoices.
    11. Recording, categorizing & data entry of all business transactions
    12. Creating invoices & bills.
    13. Verify the accuracy of invoices, bills, and other financial documents, ensuring they are properly recorded and categorized in Zoho Books.
    14. Categorizing the expenses & income.
    15. Working on bank reconciliation statements
    16. Working on accounts receivables management
    17. Working on accounts payables management
    18. Handling preparation of financial statements
    19. Handling month-end/close reporting
    20. Generating customized reports
    21. Working on petty cash management.
    22. Performing any other task related to accounts & bookkeeping using Zoho Books as per company's need.
    23. Prepare and maintain various financial reports, assisting with data analysis and identification of trends or discrepancies.

    JOINING CRITERIA

    Working hours - 9:30 am to 6:30 pm

    Working days in a week - Monday to Saturday



    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS

    1. Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Accounting or related field.
    2. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    4. Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
    5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Tally and other accounting software.
    6. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
