    Role & Responsibilities

    • Responsible for administering consulting and negotiating product/service contracts with external customers.
    • Develops pre-sales contract strategies and works closely with marketing sales and business management teams to structure proposals/contracts/bid documents.
    • Negotiates contracts consistent with business objectives and engages in contract amendments and renegotiation to accommodate scope changes.
    • Ensures fulfillment of contractual obligations from contracting parties.
    • Does not require legal qualification; A Specialist Professional (P4) is a recognized subject matter expert in the job area obtained through advanced education and work experience.
    • Responsibilities typically include: managing large projects or processes with limited oversight, coaching, reviewing, and delegating work to lower-level professionals as problems faced are difficult and often complex.

    Hiring Requirements

    Our client is offering a great opportunity for a Senior Bid & Proposal Manager. Your main task will be to develop the bid strategy for large and complex pursuits. You will manage a diverse team with various competencies to implement the strategy and ensure that our client's offerings are consolidated and effectively communicated. The role involves leading the global team responsible for markets outside of Europe.

    You will be part of the HVDC product group within the company. HVDC technology, with a history of 60 years, is utilized for transmitting power over long distances with minimal losses using overhead lines, underground, and submarine cable systems.

    Your Responsibilities:

    • Develop a tendering strategy based on market intelligence and in-house experience and expertise.
    • Lead the tender team in creating comprehensive tenders from technical and commercial perspectives, supported by technical, legal, tax, insurance, and commercial experts.
    • Translate client requirements into a competitive overall solution based on the company's portfolio.
    • Maintain frequent contacts with colleagues and clients in other countries.
    • Embrace core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for actions, caring for colleagues, and the business.

    Your Background:

    • Experience in project management of mega projects and large-scale system sales and tendering.
    • Thrive in a high-performance international environment.
    • Enjoy the challenge of complexity and working in a dynamic business environment with international clients.
    • Technical and commercial experience with HVDC systems is advantageous due to the close work with HVDC Technology.
    • Have a learning mindset and a collaborative spirit.
    • Demonstrate good leadership skills and a structured approach to guide the team through challenges.
    • Excellent communication skills, especially for interaction with a wide variety of stakeholders internally and externally across all organizational levels.

    Preferred Candidate Profile: M. Tech / BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
