- Inspect and verify incoming materials to ensure they meet project specifications, industry standards, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, discrepancies, and accepted materials, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
- Identify non-conforming materials and coordinate with suppliers to resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure materials comply with relevant quality and safety standards, providing reports for management review.
- Support inventory management by ensuring accurate material counts and managing discrepancies.
- Collaborate with suppliers to improve material quality and compliance while maintaining positive working relationships.
- Prepare detailed inspection and discrepancy reports, providing data-driven recommendations for quality improvement.
- Follow all safety protocols during inspections to protect personnel and ensure a safe working environment.
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Quality Control, Material Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years in quality inspection or material receiving, ideally within the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Relevant certifications in quality inspection, supply chain management, or material control are advantageous.
- Strong understanding of material properties and quality standards.
- Proven problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate documentation.
