    Job DescriptionWe are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Football Writer Intern to join our content team.

    This internship is an excellent opportunity for aspiring writers to gain hands-on experience in sports writing, enhance their writing skills, and build a portfolio of work.

    The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of football, excellent writing abilities, and a keen eye for detail.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Content Creation:
    Write and contribute articles, match previews, reports, player profiles, and opinion pieces related to football

    Research:
    Conduct thorough research on football topics, including historical data, player statistics, and current events

    Editing:
    Assist with editing and proofreading content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency

    Social Media:
    Support the social media team by creating engaging posts to promote articles and interact with readers

    Interviews:
    Participate in interviewing players, coaches, and other football personalities when opportunities arise

    Collaboration:
    Work closely with the editorial team to brainstorm and develop new content ideas

    SEO:
    Learn and apply SEO best practices to increase article visibility and reach

    Qualifications:

    Passion for Football:
    Deep understanding and enthusiasm for football, including major leagues, teams, and players

    Writing Skills:
    Strong writing and storytelling abilities with attention to grammar, style, and tone

    Research Skills:
    Ability to gather and synthesize information from various sources

    Education:
    Current student or recent graduate in journalism, communications, sports management, or a related field

    Adaptability:
    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

    Communication:
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Team Player:
    Willingness to collaborate with a diverse team of writers and editors

    Technical Skills:
    Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, and basic SEO principles is a plus
