Description

Vandey provides outsourced instructional services to institutions of higher education and is seeking a candidate to work for Vandey to serve in a full-time role as a Graphic Designer with the University of the People.

University of the People (UoPeople) [] is the first non-profit, tuition-free, American, accredited, 100% online university.

Today, UoPeople has over 137,000 students enrolled from more than 200 countries and territories, including 16,500 students who are refugees.

Currently accredited by the DEAC, UoPeople is also a candidate for WSCUC accreditation.

Key Responsibilities:

Create graphics and marketing materials such as emails, social media ads, landing pages, and custom illustrations that align with brand guidelines and effectively deliver our message
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including marketers, web developers, and copywriters, to ensure designs meet business objectives and user needs
Present and communicate design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, and incorporate feedback to refine and improve designs
Ensure all designs meet technical specifications and are delivered on time and within budget
Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices in web design and marketing, and share knowledge and expertise with the team

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in graphic design, web design, marketing, or a related field
5+ years of professional experience as a graphic designer
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of web and marketing design skills and experience
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Knowledge of UX design principles and best practices for digital design
Excellent communication in English and ability to collaborate with many individuals
Attention to detail, strong time management skills, and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to take initiative, think creatively, and propose design solutions that align with business objectives and user needs
