    Description

    Job Title: FO/HSD Operator

    Department: Operations / Maintenance

    Location: Trichy

    Reports To: Operations Manager / Maintenance Manager

    Job Summary:

    As an FO/HSD Operator, you play a crucial role in overseeing the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of Furnace Oil (FO) and High-Speed Diesel (HSD) equipment and systems. Your responsibilities involve inspecting equipment, conducting repairs, taking periodic readings, and ensuring the smooth functioning of FO/HSD systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Equipment Inspection and Maintenance:
      • Conduct regular inspections to identify malfunctions in FO/HSD equipment, such as pump leaks or worn bearings.
      • Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and lubrication following safety standards.
      • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with operational guidelines.
    2. Operational Monitoring and Recording:
      • Monitor the performance of FO/HSD systems by taking readings from various equipment.
      • Analyze data to enhance the efficiency of FO/HSD systems.
    3. Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
      • Identify and address operational inefficiencies effectively.
      • Collaborate with maintenance teams for complex repairs.
    4. Safety and Compliance:
      • Strictly adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure operation of FO/HSD systems.
      • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards for environmental safety.
    5. Record Keeping and Documentation:
      • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs.
      • Submit detailed reports on the status of FO/HSD systems.


    Requirements Essential Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in mechanical maintenance preferred.
    • Previous experience as an FO/HSD Operator or in a similar role with hands-on equipment maintenance experience.
    • Familiarity with FO/HSD systems and their maintenance requirements.
