    Description

    The X team is looking for a highly skilled database and system expert that can work with customers from initial deployment to full production. The candidate should be highly skilled with Oracle RAC, ASM, Exadata, Oracle database and system troubleshooting with good customer and team communication skills.

    This position is looking for highly motivated and independent Oracle skilled engineers that can evaluate problems, analyze and provide solutions over a breadth of issues. They will have access X | MAA best practices and be working with cutting edge technology using the Oracle Exadata Database Machine, Oracle Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance (ZDLRA), Exadata Storage Server, Oracle RAC, ASM, EHCC, MAA technologies and providing solutions around backup & recovery, migration, application scalability for DW and OLTP applications.

    The X-Team assists in the development of best practices for deployment and management of Exadata.

    The goal of this team is extract exadata, database machine, imdb, ZDLRA reference activities for Oracle in exchange for X-team services. The X-team works with all Exadata customer whether they choose on premise, Oracle Public Cloud or Oracle including the latest offering Autonomous Database .

    The X-team works closely with the teams deploying the Oracle Exadata environments.

    Responsibilities

    • Customer facing with good method of troubleshooting
    • Analyze and maintain existing Oracle DB
    • Discover and fix programming bugs

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
    • Solid working experience with Oracle DB
    • SQL database or relational database skills
