- Ingredient Management: Ensure fresh ingredients are properly stored and available, manage inventory levels, and communicate with the Kitchen Manager.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers, take orders, answer questions, and accommodate special requests.
- Quality Control: Monitor ingredient and product quality, maintain cleanliness, and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Properly use and maintain kitchen equipment, reporting any issues to the Kitchen Manager.
- Team Collaboration: Work with kitchen staff for efficient operation, assist in training new employees.
- Menu Development: Contribute ideas for new sandwiches and menu items based on feedback and trends.
- Experience: Prior similar role experience in the food service industry is preferred, knowledge of sandwich preparation and food safety standards is a plus.
