    What you will be doing

    This position you will be working as a technology SME and providing the end to end solution for business problem. As an individual contributor you will be working directly with client, Team sitting in global location and Sr members of team in Analysis, Design, Implementation, QA and Production deployment. In addition, you will get enough opportunity of integration with different teams performing different operations for same solution.

    What you bring:

    Technical Experience –

    • Should have 4-6 years of experience, with a minimum of 2 years of automation.
    • Knowledge of Automation tools – Selenium or similar web automation tools.
    • Knowledge of Development Languages like JAVA2 – Visual Basic, .Net etc.
    • Extend automation tool capability using Visual Basic Scripting / Windows Shell Scripting skills (DB connectivity, File Handling, XML Handling, Error Handling).
    • Integrate the automation tool with a test management tool.
    • Knowledge of Hybrid Frameworks
    • Config Management / Version Control (i.e.-BitBucket) effectively to manage automation scripts/scenarios.
    • Knowledge of RDBMS
    • Exposure to testing best practices and processes.
    • Exposure to Iterative-Incremental delivery models like Agile or Scrum.
    • QA Certifications – CSTE, ISTQB
    • Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation to understand the tests to be developed.
    • Use risk-driven techniques to develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites
    • Work with the Development team to capture and reuse automated Unit Test Cases, Test Stubs and Drivers, and other Development test objects.
    • Participate in the Change Control Board to identify the quality implications of known bugs and the impact of proposed changes to product definition on the testing process.
    • Work with the Release Engineering team to create and maintain an automated nightly build verification ("smoke") test.
    • Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used.
    • Research and document bug reports following agreed-upon processes immediately upon discovery of a quality problem.
    • Update test execution status following agreed-upon processes as part of regularly scheduled test status updates.
    • Trace test cases and results back to specific quality risks.
    • Assist the Test Manager in the creation of test project status reports and metrics (e.g., Test Dashboard).
    • Provide the Test Manager with accurate and precise estimates for assigned task duration, along with confidence levels and foreseeable dependencies.
    • Assist the Test Manager in preparing test plans, budgets, and schedules.
    • Following all the Agile/scrum processes.
