    Description

    Nestasia is looking for senior merchandisers to help expand Nestasia's product manufacturing and sourcing. Nestasia currently works with over 120 manufacturing units and has a portfolio of 7500+ SKUs. The aim is to take this to 100,000+ SKUs by this year.

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Sourcing for home decor product line (soft furnishings)
    • Ideate and design various product line collections
    • Use designing software to design and customize products as per requirement
    • Manage vendors efficiently
    • Research for new or upcoming trends
    • Identify cost reduction opportunities
    • Maximize current sourcing channel
    • International sourcing for hard goods from places like China
    • Collaborate with buyers to select and source products that align with the company's brand and target market.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies to continuously improve merchandising strategies and drive innovation

    Desired Candidate Profile:

    • >3 years of experience in working with Indian manufacturers
    • A keen interest in decor, furnishings, and styling
    • Proficiency in using Design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel draw etc.) and MS-Excel
    • Excellent communication (English & Hindi) and negotiation skills
    • Should have good work ethics and calm attitude
    • Candidate with B.Des preferred
