Being a Release Manager, Managing the end to end deliver of Software deployment. Also, managing Client, escalation, KPI, Incident management.

Experience

  • Identify and confirm the requirements for the Application package and SCCM
  • Deployment by coordinating, communicating with Customer and requestors once receive the request
  • Co-ordinate to address the package requirements input and Install instruction document from the customer for the packaging team Arrange the Interoperability Testing once packaging completed on the test VM devices, 
  • MRO strategy and inform and co-ordinate with support teams Control, Monitor the end to end Packaging and deployment process Publish Application deployment report and update CMDB record and service catalogue
  • Engage customer/requestor to perform the interoperability, functionality testing on test devices in-order to test the application package on pre-prod environment to ensure the capability to deploy on the prod devices
  • Facilitate reviews of software issues by coordinating testing, using various tools and dashboards to investigate bugs, and putting together statistics to help engineers prioritize and review issues.
  • Support software release process by monitoring and validating each phase of the release process as it progresses through various release gates and test phases.
  • Provide regular release status updates and communicate process changes to the team.
  • Knowledge of the Release management function – including an understanding of the key phases of a release & Release Management responsibility in each of these phases
  • Having in depth knowledge of tools such as Service Now & BMC Helix.
  • Provide release support and manage any issues that arise. Facilitate emergency releases for production issues.
  • Prepared Weekly and month status review report for all the team.
  • Ensure all required/related defects are tracked, resolved, and included in the releases.
  • Managing the SLA and KPI to ensure that there is no penalty.
  • People Management is part of my day-to-day job to endure we have quality delivery, no conflicts in team.
