Experienced Scientist with a demonstrated history of working in the research environment. Skilled in System Programming, High-Performance Computing, Data Analysis, Web Design, and Development.

Working in a short staffed government laboratory, my responsibilities have been multifaceted.

Following are my key responsibilities:

1. L-1 support engineer/system administrator to user scientists across the various ISRO centers. Support more than 80 concurrent users for their day to day computing issues/queries. Ensuretimely system health check and carrying out troubleshoot.
2. Management of the HVAC and electrical aspects of the system. 
3. Maintaining cyber security of the HPC system 
4. Designed and developed WebGIS based applications to disseminate weather forecast data as well as real time instrument data. The API calls were written in python.
5. Member of project execution committee for National Clean Air Program at NARL to carry out source apportionment studies in non attainment cities.
6. Involved in research on improve the regional weather prediction especially predictions of extreme events which has led to publication of 7 papers in peer reviewed journals. 
7. Teaching basic and advanced python to research scholars and scientists at NARL.
8. Providing weather support to ISRO rocket launching operations (30 launches so far). Developed website to disseminate data for the same.

I completed my Bachelor of Technology in Physical Sciences from Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram. My undergraduate study exposed me to various applications of space research as well as application of numerical computing in space sciences.
