As a dedicated and dynamic educator with over a decade of experience, I have consistently sought to create engaging, inquiry-driven learning environments that inspire students to think critically, apply knowledge practically, and develop into globally aware individuals. I bring a unique blend of academic expertise and professional versatility, having taught Business Studies and Economics across diverse international curricula including the Cambridge A-Levels, IGCSE, ICSE, and the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP). My journey as a teacher, coordinator, and mentor is grounded in the belief that education must empower students to navigate complexity with empathy, clarity, and purpose.

Currently, I serve as the Cambridge A-Level Coordinator at Trivandrum International School, where I lead the academic and administrative planning of the A-Level programme. My responsibilities include curriculum planning, teacher mentorship, timetable coordination, and ensuring academic alignment with international standards. As a subject expert, I deliver courses in Economics and Business Management, nurturing a learning culture that balances academic rigour with real-world application. My previous teaching experience at the College of Engineering Trivandrum and my role as an Assistant Professor of Business Management have further enriched my pedagogical approach with strategic insights from higher education and industry practice.

One of my core strengths lies in developing innovative and activity-based pedagogies, including game-based learning models, simulation activities, and interdisciplinary thematic units. Whether it’s using the Lemonade Stand game to teach entrepreneurial decision-making, designing a Critical Path Analysis mystery based on the X-Men universe, or linking football narratives to emotional resilience and adversity, my lessons are crafted to foster both cognitive engagement and emotional connection.

In addition to teaching, I have worked extensively on data-driven academic analysis—identifying student learning gaps, designing intervention strategies, and supporting performance improvements through reflective evaluation. I have also mentored students through research projects, IA preparation, and Extended Essays, helping them align their interests with academic objectives.

Beyond the classroom, I am actively engaged in curriculum design, faculty induction, lesson observation, and professional development planning. I place strong emphasis on teacher collaboration and leadership growth, often leading workshops and feedback sessions for fellow educators. My reflective and research-informed teaching philosophy allows me to adapt to the evolving educational landscape while maintaining a commitment to excellence and integrity.
