I'm a freelance dietitian and independent nutrition consultant. Essentially, I run my own practice, which allows me to provide highly personalized, one-on-one nutrition therapy.
I don't follow generic meal plans; I focus on creating sustainable lifestyle changes for my clients, particularly those struggling with chronic weight issues, metabolic disorders, cardiac issues. I help them translate complex nutritional science into simple, actionable habits that fit their unique lives and culture. It's rewarding work because I get to see people move beyond temporary dieting and truly improve their long-term health.
Experience
"I am a recent B.Sc. graduate in Nutrition and Dietetics (2024) with over 6 months of hands-on clinical experience gained through internships at Shalby Multi Speciality Hospital (Mohali) and Sahyadri Super Speciality Hospital (Pune). In these roles, I actively assisted dietitians during rounds , developed individualized therapeutic diet plans for patients with metabolic and cardiovascular diseases , and provided dietary counseling. I am proficient in Medical Nutrition Therapy and combining empathy with evidence-based practice.
Education
My most relevant education is a Bachelors of Nutrition and Dietetics (2021-2024) , where I completed relevant coursework in Nutrition Management in Health and Diseases, Food Service Management, and Meal Planning. I further applied this knowledge by completing a research project focused on an innovative food formulation, 'Choco-Almond Millet Premix'. I also hold a Certification in Diet Counselling (2022), Meal Planning (2022), Food Fortification (2023).
