I am Ajay Sirra, a passionate and dedicated Metallurgical and Materials Engineering professional. With a strong academic background from NIT Andhra Pradesh and hands-on experience from my internship at Vizag Steel Plant, I have developed a solid foundation in various aspects of the field.

During my internship, I gained valuable insights into the operations of different departments, including Coke oven, Blast furnace, Steel melting shop, and Continuous casting and finishing mills. I also conducted a project on optimizing the operations of a walking beam furnace to enhance the quality of 55S17 grade steel bars.

In my academic projects, I have demonstrated expertise in utilizing ABAQUS software for finite element modeling and stress analysis. By assessing the structural integrity and stress distribution of aerospace brackets, I identified critical stress points and proposed improvements for enhanced reliability. The findings from my research were published in Springer lecture notes in Mechanical Engineering.

I possess a strong understanding of the impact of heat treatment processes on steel's mechanical properties, acquired through conducting extensive mechanical tests and data analysis. Additionally, I have acquired proficiency in MS Excel, MySQL, C, Java, and operating systems like Windows and Linux.

Throughout my educational journey, I have excelled academically and taken on leadership responsibilities as a Class Representative. I have actively contributed to the smooth functioning of classes and the organization of departmental events.

I am skilled in search engine optimization, technical market analysis, stocks analysis, and risk management in trading. Furthermore, I have completed certifications in welding techniques for automotive applications, artificial intelligence, robotics, and Java programming.

I have gained professional experience through an internship at Vizag Steel Plant, where I worked as a Project Trainee. During this period, I studied the operations of various departments such as Coke oven, Blast furnace, Steel melting shop, Continuous casting, and finishing mills. I pursued a Bachelor of Technology degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from NIT Andhra Pradesh. During my undergraduate studies, I acquired a strong foundation in the principles and practices of my field. I graduated in 2023 with a CGPA of 6.11, showcasing my commitment to academic excellence.

Prior to my undergraduate studies, I completed my Senior Secondary education at Sri Chaitanya Junior College, where I achieved a commendable CGPA of 9.23. Additionally, I completed my Secondary School education at St. Mary's EM School with an exceptional CGPA of 9.8, demonstrating my consistent dedication to academic success throughout my educational journey.

These educational experiences have equipped me with a broad knowledge base in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, covering subjects such as materials science, metallurgy, mechanical behavior of materials, and heat treatment processes.
