About Akash Tiwari:
Currently, I’m working for upGrad Campus on building an ecosystem for Higher Education Institutes in India to transform them into Next-Gen and Industry Relevant Campuses.
Experience
I am an MBA graduate from the Indian Institute of Management Amritsar (Batch of 2020), and prior to that, I graduated in Electronics Engineering (Hons.) from the University Institute of Technology RGPV (formerly Government Engineering College, Bhopal).
I have an inclination in Strategy, Brand Management, Customer Relations, Sales, Business Development, Advertising, and People Management, but I love only and only Marketing! [No, Seriously 😊]
I have been associated with LinkedIn as a Campus Editor of IIM Amritsar from 2018-2020 and am currently part of the LinkedIn for Creators Program.
I was the Placement Coordinator during my tenure at IIM Amritsar. The role has helped me immensely in terms of knowing the industry’s needs and helped me a lot to enhance my Team Management and Leadership skills. We have successfully concluded the Placement for the 2018-19 session with a maiden 100% success. Afterwards, we finished a cent % for the 2019-20 Placement Season.
Prior to this in my UG days, I worked as the Head Coordinator for Phoenix: Technical Society of UIT RGPV as well as for InSync: Cultural Society, where my role included Promotions, Organizing and Advertising for the Annual Events and Conclaves and also, playing the role of a Tree in a Street Play Competition in which I displayed my fantastic overacting skills :P
In my Pre-Final year, I founded an Academic Committee called Srijan@UIT alongwith my 5 classmates, which catered to the UIT RGPV students for their Aptitude and Interview preparations for their Placement Preparation.
