Experience

My name is Akhil Soman and I am a seasoned Mobile Application Developer with over 10 years of experience. I have worked as an Android Developer for about 5 years, and currently I have been working with Flutter for about 5 years now. Both of these experiences have led me to learn more about the mobile app ecosystem. In my current role as a Mobile Engineer(Flutter + Android), I am responsible for creating hybrid mobile applications using Flutter(Dart) and maintaining some apps that are developed using native android development tools(Java/Kotlin). I have also worked as team lead for the mobile application development team in my previous roles.

Even though my primary expertise is in mobile application development, I have been wanting to work with backend technologies as well. In order to do that, I have enrolled and completed courses on Golang on Udemy and the completion certificate for the same can be found here udemy.com/certificate/UC-bdd9abfb-39a4-4405-ab54-be0d65bb5285

I have also worked on some personal projects in Golang. These projects were based on requirements from roadmap.sh website. These projects can be found in my github profile.
