Akshay Uday

I’m a Chemical Engineer with a strong foundation in composite materials and process engineering. I recently completed my apprenticeship at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), where I worked in the Ceramic Matrix Products Division. During this time, I gained hands-on experience in the development of Carbon-Silicon Carbide (C-SiC) composites using Chemical Vapor Infiltration (CVI), pyrolysis, and sintering.

My work also involved the synthesis and scale-up of preceramic polymers, fiber architecture design using TexGen, and material property simulation with Abaqus. This experience sharpened my skills in precision manufacturing and materials optimization, and reinforced my passion for working at the intersection of advanced materials, process design, and innovation.

I’m now looking to bring this experience into a dynamic engineering role where I can continue contributing to cutting-edge composite technologies.
