About Alexander Coates Reid:

As a principal at D Y Patil High School, I have been leading a team of dedicated and talented educators for over six years, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration. I have a strong background in education, with a bachelor's degree in education, a master's degree in English, and a teacher's training course from Mount Hermon College, Darjeeling. 

My core competencies include team leadership, curriculum development, student motivation, communication, and management. I have a genuine interest in respecting and empowering students, teachers, and parents, and a passion for helping students learn with a committed and up-to-date knowledge of educational and modern cognitive learning reforms. I have also introduced the Foundation Stages-I and II for schools, and have successfully adapted old teaching methods to suit the present-day requirements and individual learning needs. I have received words of encouragement from KHDA in Dubai on my leadership and management qualities, and have a clear understanding and knowledge of the CCE/IB/CIE and 3C curricula.
