About Amalendu S:

I am currently pursuing M.Sc. Tech in Engineering Physics at NIT Warangal, where I am deepening my expertise in applied physics, electronics, and computational methods. My academic journey began with a B.Sc. in Physics from Kannur University, where I graduated with First Class with Distinction. During this period, I not only focused on academics but also took on leadership roles as a Board Member of the Women Welfare Committee and as Class Representative for three consecutive years, experiences that helped me cultivate strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities.

My undergraduate project, “α-decay chains of Z = 112 superheavy nuclei in the range 278 ≤ A ≤ 287”, introduced me to advanced nuclear and quantum physics. I applied theoretical models including the Universal Curve, Viola–Seaborg Semi-Empirical Relation, and Royer’s Formula to study nuclear decay properties and predict the stability of superheavy isotopes against spontaneous fission. This project honed my skills in data analysis, critical thinking, scientific modeling, and research writing, while giving me valuable exposure to theoretical and computational aspects of nuclear physics.

Alongside my physics background, I have developed strong technical expertise in Python Full Stack Development, enabling me to bridge scientific knowledge with technology-driven applications. My skills include:

Core Python & OOP – writing clean, modular, and efficient code.

Web Development – Django, Flask, REST APIs, and Angular for building scalable web applications.

Databases – SQL for relational database design, queries, and optimization.

Version Control & Collaboration – Git and GitHub for team-based development and project management.

Data Science & Machine Learning Libraries – NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn, and NLTK for data analysis, visualization, and predictive modeling.


By combining my background in physics research with software and data science skills, I aim to position myself at the intersection of science and technology. I am particularly interested in projects where computational physics, machine learning, or software solutions can be applied to solve real-world challenges.

I am actively seeking internships, research opportunities, and collaborations where I can contribute my interdisciplinary expertise—leveraging both my physics foundation and my technical coding skills. Whether in academia, R&D, or industry applications, I am eager to work on problems that demand analytical rigor, creative problem-solving, and scalable technical solutions.

Experience

I have hands-on experience in Python Full Stack Development, working across the complete software development lifecycle—from backend logic to frontend integration. I am proficient in Core Python and Object-Oriented Programming, with a strong focus on writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code for real-world applications.

My experience includes developing backend systems using Django and Flask, building and consuming RESTful APIs, handling authentication, and integrating relational databases using SQL. On the frontend, I have worked with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular to create responsive, user-centric web interfaces. I am comfortable using Git and GitHub for version control, collaborative development, and code management.

In addition to full stack development, I have practical exposure to data analysis and machine learning workflows, utilizing libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn, and NLTK for data preprocessing, visualization, and basic predictive modeling. This allows me to approach problems with both a software engineering and data-driven mindset.

Through project-based learning and hands-on implementation, I have developed strong skills in debugging, optimization, problem-solving, and system design. I am comfortable adapting to new technologies and collaborating within team environments, and I am actively seeking internships and opportunities where I can contribute to scalable software solutions and continue growing as a full stack Python developer.

Education

I am currently pursuing M.Sc. Tech in Engineering Physics at NIT Warangal, where my training emphasizes applied problem-solving, computational techniques, and technology-driven approaches. The program equips me with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to translate complex concepts into practical solutions. Through coursework and hands-on learning, I am developing skills in logical modeling, data interpretation, numerical methods, and computational thinking, which complement my background in Python full stack development. This interdisciplinary exposure enables me to approach technical challenges systematically and adapt quickly in fast-paced, project-oriented environments, making me well-prepared for technology-focused internship roles.
