Job Description: - Looking  Plant Maintenance & Stores 

 

Responsibilities: - 

                               

  • Assists the Plant Head for finalizing the Annual Operating Plan for the Plant and to achieve the Targets. 
  • Responsible for adopting the best Engineering Practices, Systems and Procedures in the Operation and Maintenance of the Plant
  • Responsible for devising & implementation of Management Plans for improvement in the Plant performance
  • Responsible for implementation of Integrated Management Systems and other Continuous Improvement Plans which will bring awards and recognition to Plant
  • Responsible for the Planning of all Maintenance Activities and submission of MIS on time
  • Responsible for the Plant Performance, Energy Management & Conservation, Efficiency, Availability, Reliability, etc. 
  • Conduct periodic Technical Audits.
  • Responsible for all Statutory Compliances related to the Operating Plant like Pressure Vessels Testing, Tools & Tackles Calibration & Testing, etc. and maintaining all records of the validity of the calibration certifications.
  • Responsible for the protection of Environment and operating the Plant within the permissible emission norms.
  • Responsible for the Occupation Health and Safety of all the individuals working in the Plant. He shall promote Safety & Safe working practices including PTW systems.
  • Responsible for the Spares & Consumables planning, inspection and prudent usage. 
  • Ensure optimization of the Inventory Costs
  • Responsible for the development of the Employees’ skill sets for taking up higher responsibilities. 
  • Identification of the Technical training requirements for the Employees and organize it through various sources including the OEM
  • In house development of various machines such as abrasive cutter, band saw machine etc.
  • Modification in Spindle Gearbox of Peeling Machine to improve reliability.
  • Indigenization of various imported items for cost benefit, decrease inventory carrying cost and improve availability.

  • Developed Maintenance Management System for complete plant
  • Design and development of Intermediate Gearbox of Peeling Machine.
  • Design and development of 2 Roll Straightener.
