I have 20+ years of experience in digital product design - Some notable large scale projects include managing a team of designers for developing Online Metal Trading Platform for B2B customers of Trafigura Lykos (China) where in a trader could buy metals like Aluminium in bulk(metric tonnes) by placing orders based on live prices on Shanghai Commodity Exchange, select warehouse of his choice and take delivery in parts as per their business needs.

Built an Operational Property Asset Management platform for Network Rail (UK) with Salesforce as a chosen technology platform and integrating it with GIS maps for visualizing assets on map and using Augmented view of the properties through NavVIS View enabled the users to navigate from a record to a map and from there to a Augmented view to give complete clarity of the asset under observation.

Built a Supply chain portal for Asian Honda Motors (Thailand)  wherein the requirement was to look at multiple modules right from Order Management & Fulfilment(matching factory output to demands), Third party vessel booking to Quality check for ensuring that the Cars ordered by country distributors are taken into consideration for manufacturing by the company and are delivered on time through transport by sea.

Key Responsibilities handled in the above large engagements are listed below.

Planned the design sprints and monitored, supervised the design delivery of designers working in multiple pods, teams.

Communicated design work and justified design decisions to internal for their buyin on the concepts and approaches as well as external stakeholders for their final signoffs

Mentored the design team to apply component-based design patterns by following the Lightning Design System of Salesforce for creating the interfaces as an example. Looked into how to handle certain business requirements that could not be fulfilled through Out of the Box components and suggested custom development wherever necessary.

Handled stakeholders feedback by converting them into actionable items and directing the team to improving their deliverables and in achieving the deadlines.

Collaborated between cross functional teams to ensure smooth handoffs and delivery. Worked closely with engineering teams to understand how designs should be built and tested them before they are made live.

I have about 22 years of experience working on digital applications that run on all types of devices. I have designed Responsive Web Applications, Native applications for Android and iOS devices. I have experience designing applications for technology platforms like Salesforce, SAP, MS Dynamics, Service Now. I have successfully delivered projects in the past. Recent Network Rail project has won 2 Awards which was about Digital Transformation of their Operational Property Asset Management System.

I have done Computer Engineering and I am a Certified Usability Analyst by Human Factors International. I am also a member of Interaction Design Foundation.
