Preparing and assembling medical record documentation/charts for the physician
Updating patient history, physical exam and other pertinent health information in the patient
Organizing and sending all documentation to physician for review
Patient workup and coordinate to obtain patient fitness for surgey
Good communication with patients to collect all medical / medication/ surgical/ allergic/social histories.
Counsel patients regarding surgery, Post operative care, medications and rehab programme under supervision of physician. 
Prescribe post operative medications(based on current patient health, comorbidities, diagnostic test reports and advises during fitness), Post operative orders, Post operative lab investigations and check X-rays /other investigations if any under the supervision of physician. 
Convert intravenous medications to oral medications and monitor post operative patient status (based on prerounds, ward rounds, clinical 
examinations and diagnostic test report). 
Preparing discharge summaries based  on case file and prescribe discharge medications, mention plan regarding patient under the supervision of physician. 
Always available for patients to clear their doubts
