ANIKET KUNDU

He holds the position of guest faculty at the Department of Chemistry.       He has more than 7 years of teaching and research experience in the extended field of spectroscopy and computational chemistry. He has 8 publications in peer review journals to his credit. He completed his Ph.D. in 2015 from IIT Bombay. The thesis work was based on studies of non-covalent interactions and π - stacking of molecules in the gas phase. During his research work in IIT Bombay, he visited the National Taiwan University, Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences, Taipei, Taiwan. There he worked in the field of Gas-phase MATI (Mass Analysed Threshold Ionization) Spectroscopy which specializes in obtaining spectra for molecular Ion species. After completing his research work at IIT Bombay he joined the Department of Chemistry, Goa University as an Assistant Professor on a contract basis. After that he was working in KC College, Churchgate, Mumbai as Temporary Faculty from 2016 to 2018. Shortly after working in K C college, he joined VJTI, Matunga Mumbai as an Assistant professor on a tenure basis. Currently, he is working in the Department of Chemistry, Ravenshaw University as Guest Faculty from the month of January 2021.

His current research interest is computational chemistry calculation of synthesis of several natural products such as curcumin. He is working on the synthesis of several organic molecules also.
