       Northern Power grid is major Electricity Distribution Company in UK having a number of public and Government customers like Leeds Council UK. Currently NPG is having around 150 applications developed in different technologies like .Net, Oracle Forms. Basically, these applications are categorized as BC1, BC2, and BC3 according to their business criticality. Customers once got a MPAN (Meter point access number) from Northern Power grid the field engineers from NPG will take care of the necessary field work to supply the requested electricity to the corresponding customers.

      In which NPG may handle nearly 150 applications (CDA, CDMS etc.,) day to day activities and may resolve the issues which was raised by the users.

      To efficiently enable market competition between competing companies through secure, managed data transfer and associated management services. Security, reliability of service and market interoperability was prerequisites.
