 I am working as a History and Global Perspective Teacher in middle and senior School for more than two years. I am looking forward to further expand my career path and work abroad. I have completed by Masters in History from Presidency University, Kolkata and my Bachelor of Education from St Xavier's College autonomous, Kolkata. I ensure that the lessons are engaging in nature and students learn the subject beyond textbook. I find it extremely important to incorporate different methods of learning so that the students can develop critical thinking skills and an analytic mind.

I have been working as an IGCSE History teacher in grade 6 to 10 and as IGCSE Global Perspectives teacher in grade 9 and 10. My role as a subject teacher is to ensure that the lessons are conducted with the help of modern methods like PPT, videos and different source materials. Different activities are incorporated in the lessons to help the students develop critical, research, analytical and collaborative skills. Collaborative teaching is also done between two subjects so that students can develop higher order thinking. Apart from academic related work, I have been working as a class teacher of Grade 7 as well and through this role I help students to conduct themselves in a disciplined manner, make sure that the students face no problem in the classroom environment and at the same time they become independent individuals. There are other non-academic role assigned to me such as organising field trips, creating documents for the sections in terms of exam related work, maintaing student's dossier and sometime assigned the role of mentor for students who need special attention.

I have completed my Bachelor of Art and Master of Arts is History from Presidency University, Kolkata. Following that, I have done my Teacher Training Degree (B. Ed) from St. Xavier's College (Autonomous) , Kolkata.
