 I am specialised in Foundry and Forge. I am familiar with US,Europe and Asian region

• Well Experienced in should costing process with emphasis on manufacturing selection, fixture knowledge, cycle time calculation, Machine selection, Inspection methods, labour rate calculation and OH by using aPriori, DFMA and Excel for US, Europe, and Asian regions.

• Perform should cost evaluation for Casting (Ferrous and Non-Ferrous), Forging, Sheet metal and Fabrication, Machining, Plastic, Rubber, Motors, Bought out items, Copper Wires ,PCB and tooling.

• Drive execution of Sourcing should Cost project for identified product, identify potential opportunities from should cost studies, partner with sourcing department  to leverage should cost estimates for supplier negotiations.

• Facilitate brainstorming sessions within the project team to identify cost out opportunities from should cost efforts, formulate recommendation, partner with team to drive cost out projects.

• Conducted on site audits at supplier’s end; assessed manufacturing facility in terms of cost and technical perspective.

• Create benchmarking cost break up models and identify benchmark suppliers.

• Contribute idea generation in VA/VE Projects

• Provide coaching and mentoring to the team on Manufacturing, cost out processes.

• Developed an exclusive should costing software

• Optimized the purchase cost worth 800 Crores; contributed to significant cost savings worth 10 million per month through should costing of exclusive grade Pig Iron

• Recorded the savings worth 20 million through cost break up analysis of Polywrap Copper Wire
