Ashish Poria

I am Ashish Poria, a product manager with more than 5 years of work experience in Product Management and overall 7+years of work ex. 

I graduated from IIT-Patna (one of the top engineering college in India) in 2014 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Thereafter, I worked for 2 years in Indian Oil (Largest Oil Company in India)

I did my post-graduation in Business from IIM-Ahmedabad (No. 1 Business school in India). 

After my MBA, I worked as a product manager in India office of FinIQ Consulting Pte Ltd for 3 years. FinIQ Consulting is a Singapore-based fintech firm that designs and delivers software solutions for private banking and wealth management clients. During my stint at FinIQ Consulting, I worked from Singapore office for around 3 months in an year. At FinIQ, I worked on their FX trading platform which enables RMs and Dealers to deal in FX Cash, Vanilla FX options, and complex FX structured products. I left FinIQ consulting in 2021.

Currently, I am working as a product manager in Enphase Energy. At Enphase, I have built the customer financing module for our pre-sales tool, from grounds up. Using this module, businesses can present loan quotes to their clients to finance their Solar installation. Once a customer gives his nod for a certain loan, the business can apply for credits on their behalf. The platform offers loan applications with 4 leading fintechs, which have been integrated into the pre-sales tool. I led the effort of deal negotiation and integration of these fintechs into out platform. This has opened up a new revenue stream for Enphase, as we get a commission for each approved application apart from a fixed fee from the fintechs. 

I have also built the document management module from scratch. It allows users to generate contracts within seconds through the usage of placeholders. I also integrated Docusign with the "document management" feature to provide customers with e-signature capabilities within the platform. With this feature, our product is now truly an end to end pre-sales tool as it captures the whole user journey from lead generation to contract signing. 

On a personal note, I am always looking out for more challenging and exciting opportunities which takes me out of my comfort zone.
