A clueless engineer turned passionate marketer :)

I was very little when I used to put glitter on my mother’s old sarees, repackage my grandmother’s vintage boxes, and would unabashedly try to sell them to any potential buyer I could find. It might sound dramatic, but Marketing isn’t a function for me, it defines me as a person.

As a marketer, I have felt many emotions, sometimes all of them together. Some emotions had names, like - ‘we did a great job’, ‘wish we did it differently’, ‘could do better', ‘never mind’, ‘I am in love with what we achieved’, and so many more. And what I have learned over these years is that no matter what we end up achieving, if we do it by heart, it’s all worth it.

I keep telling my team, Marketing is an emotion, and it ties everything back to that emotion. Whether it’s content for a LinkedIn post or an outbound email, whether it’s an engagement activity for a corporate event or a website design, every aspect of content and design strategy must enhance the emotion that marketing clicks on.

In my role at Decision Point, I lead a team of content writers, designers, and marketing professionals in strategizing, building, and driving campaigns that impact decision-makers behavior.

As a Growth Partner, I engage with stakeholders to strategize and plan GTM for both products and services. I believe in owning end-to-end customer journeys across the funnel from awareness to retention.

As a leader, I learn to lead with knowledge, strength, vulnerability, and empathy.
